I am looking for SEVERAL GOOD HOMES to care for guineas! I need foster homes too. I have many many male guineas right now and several females as well-all loving little cuties but waay too many to picture one by one. They need fresh hay unlimited DAILY(Timmy, Oat, brome, grass etc-we feed a huge mixture of all that includes dried wild carrot leaves and branches and dandilions and alfalafa, clover and more here) and fresh greens-dark leafy ones-parsley and dandilions from your yard(pesticide free) washed good and fed would make the guineas do the piggy 500 around your living room for sure! Guineas need to REUPTAKE VITAMIN C DAILY as this mammal does not manufacture its own and is thought to be one of the only mammals that do not and require supplementation-aside from a DEGU and the jury remains out on them still so we supplement *just in case* in the degu populations here~ **Occasional** treats are acceptable like a baby carrot(ONE ONLY) or a piece of apple with the peel or a Cherio even but mainly for a guineas good health and diabetes NOT to set in we must remain carbs and sugar free though oranges are good and tomatoes with their high VitC count, are great and can be free fed and considered a healthy diet for guineas.
